¿Dónde está el baño?

Translation

JAVIER: Hey, do you need anything? ELENA: I’d like to take a shower. JAVIER: OK. I’ll show the bathroom. The towels are upstairs. Do you have shampoo and gel? ELENA: Yes, but I cannot find them in the suitcase. Do you mind if I use yours? JAVIER: Of course not. Let’s go upstairs and I’ll show you. ELENA: Ok. JAVIER: Let’s go to the bathroom. ELENA: Here. JAVIER: Well, it’s little, but it’s not bad. ELENA: It’s great. JAVIER: Here in this part of the closet you can keep your things. ELENA: Great. JAVIER: Then…the sink faucet is normal. ELENA: Good. JAVIER: And careful with the shower faucet, because the C is for cold water and the H is for hot water. ELENA: Ah, of course, because C is for cold, not of caliente (hot). JAVIER: That’s it. Then, to regulate the water, you have to turn to the left. ELENA: OK. JAVIER: OK? ELENA: Perfect. JAVIER: Lastly, when you are done showering, open the window, because the fan doesn’t work too well, the humidity accumulates. ELENA: Okay. Great. JAVIER: See you. ELENA: Bye.

Other ways to say adiós
Like in all languages, in Spanish there are several expressions to say goodbye, and they vary according to region and speaker’s age.
Adiós is the most traditional and widespread one, but also common are:chau-300x165
Hasta luego
= See you later
Nos vemos = See you (literally: We’ll see each other)
Chau is typical of  Argentina and Uruguay. It’s an adaptation of ciao, from the many Italians who emigrated to these countries in the 19th century. Nowadays, chau (or chao) is used frequently all over the Spanish-speaking countries.
