Wesleyan University

Wesleyan University is a liberal arts college. It is old for the United States: it was founded in 1831. Other universities in the United States are named Wesleyan but they are not the same. This is the only Wesleyan in Connecticut. Wesleyan has 2,800 undergraduate students and about 300 graduate students. The students of Wesleyan are intelligent, curious and they have diverse interests and because of this there are many artists athletes and activists. At Wesleyan it is normal to combine studies in very different areas. For example: biology and art or economics and Spanish. What are the colors of Wesleyan? Black and red. And what is the mascot of Wesleyan? The cardinal, a red bird.
